I had a great stay! The staff was very friendly and allowed me to keep a few beers cold in their fridge. The view of the entire city is amazing! The flocks of parrots were an added bonus. There are some good restaurants close by as well.

We’ll be back!
We had an amazing stay. Nazu house had amazing views. If you gave the property you feel like you are in a country farm that is full of mango trees. Turn around and you have a view of the entire city. The room was clean, had great AC, and a comfortable bed. Érica was great and even let us check in early. We will be back!
Amazing view as soon as you get to the top of the stairs.

Great place with disappointing check out
Beautiful property, perfect to stay away from the hustle & bustle of the city. There was a wedding however I believe it is usually quieter. Everything was great apart from check out, when they asked me to pay eventhough I have paid online. Showing the email confirmation & bank statement wasnt enough, the owner kept saying that I have to pay.. such an embarrasing situation. First of all if they use various booking channels these should be set up properly, moreover they should be on the guests’ side instead of arguing. I still think its worth a visit, just be careful when it comes to payment. Hopefully their customer service will improve. This property is absolutely sensational. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. The food that they offer for breakfast and dinner is so delicious. If there was one thing that could be worked on is the wifi signal in the property but that is nothing major.

The personal service was very friendly and excellent and the breakfast and dinners were of a very high quality. I highly recommend this place. The only negative was finding this place for the first time, thereafter, this was not an issue. I saw it like a hidden treasure.

Loved this property because of bright rooms, staff, good food, big spaces around and feel at home. Breakfast, lunch and dinner all included. Only problem is UBer or other cab drivers have hard time locating this property because of wrong information in google. We figured it out with first ride and helped the cab drivers for all other rides. Overall a very good experience. This property is originally a house and later converted to a hotel, so it feels as if you are in a big roomy house. It has a small pool and a swing that my son enjoyed a lot. The property is almost on the top of the hill so you would love the view of the entire city, especially at night. We spent two peaceful nights here.

4/10 Fair

Fair
Nazu House is in a beautiful location away from the city centre. However i did not get what i had booked. - i booked (& paid for) a room with dinner but the restaurant was closed and they had no details of my dinner request - no fridge or mini bar in room - my room was separate to the main house with no curtain in the shower so could be seen by any one walking past - I was leaving early for the airport and the receptionist agreed to a take away breakfast but I didn't get this This was disappointing as Nazul house is a lovely place overall with great views. However it is quite pricey for Quito and I expected more

Nazu is a beautiful house located close to the trendy Urdesa area of Guayaquil with excellent restaurants and shopping. It is very quiet, set in lush vegetation and offers magnificent views of the city. The staff is very polite and always willing to assist with minor issues. Highly recommended.

HARD TO FIND...But very lovely once you get there. Simple but healthy meals. Ask the price of the wine before you order. Overall... if you want to be "Far from the maddening crowd"..This is the place for you!

Beautiful place, nice people, but...
This is a beautiful place, secluded on a hillside and just as pretty as the pictures. It was much further from the airport than I expected, and it wasn't in a walkable area where I felt like I could easily get a meal or do any shopping without getting a taxi. It's more of a retreat than a city hotel. The staff were friendly, but didn't always give the service I needed. There was never anyone at the front desk, so if I needed anything I had to go look for the I had booked half-board with dinner and breakfast, but I was taken to my room without being given any information about the meals. I had to go looking for dinner, and then it was a surprise affair - I wasn't told what the menu was or asked anything about my preferences, food just appeared and I had to guess what I was eating. I asked for a taxi to the airport at 1, and was waiting in the lobby at that time but no taxi came. Again, I had to go looking for someone to help me get a taxi, and when it finally arrived it was nearly 30 minutes past the hour and i was stressing about getting to the airport on time. I hate leaving a mediocre review, I really liked the people here and I feel like they're trying, but right now it's really overpriced for the service they're able to provide.

A lovely oasis in Guayaquil
We arrived here directly from our long haul flight from the UK and the staff went out of their way to be helpful and welcoming. Very pleasant place to stay, with a great swimming pool and good value dinner offered. You really need to have an airport transfer arranged, because taxi drivers need your help to find it (and you can only do that after you’ve understood the ONLY way of approaching by road yourself....). Great view from the garden and patios over the city, and some great spacious and well-equipped rooms, but don’t go in expecting corporate standards of quality, there are idiosyncrasies.

Great view and beautiful sourroundings
The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was adequate. The owner went out of her way to help us get to town and recommended an excellent restaurant for typical food. The room we got was big with a sitting area and a large bathroom. Our cab driver had a tough time trying to find the entrance to the place. Better signage would have allow me to rate the hotel a 5 star. Over all, a good deal for the money.

Nice hotel on a hill top with beautiful view
Staff was attentive and helpful. The room was comfortable and breakfast in the morning was delicious and attractively served. The grounds are beautiful - a place of retreat. It is placed high on the hill above the noise of the city and is quiet and restful. I have stayed here twice and both times were a welcome interlude in my travels. I would recommend it to anyone needing a place of rest before going on their way.

Nazu House has a feeling of being surrounded by a jungle, but your are actually in a city of 4 million people. The service was outstanding. Breakfast and dinner every day was most enjoyable. The staff really did go out of their way to make sure we were well provided for. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in Guayaquil. Highly recommend! Plus their golden lab "Bono" was a pure joy.

We liked this place
We loved our stay here. The hotel was just as nice or nicer than the pictures. It made it seem like we were in a much more elegant city than Guayaquil! The breakfasts were great! Also the dinners were nice. The service was down to earth and nice but a little understaffed at times. Also sometimes a little slow but overall we really liked this place.
