Scam, Fraud. Foreigners beware. Never PrePay
Scam, Fraud. I paid in advance extra money for one of the upgraded rooms, when I arrived for check in (I told them I dont speak spanish) they told me the only way I can get any room is if I sign some form (all in spanish), they did not offer to translate or explain what it said. I didnt know what they were doing but when I got to my room it turns out they downgraded me to one of the very basic/bad rooms. Hotels.com and I both attemped to have them refund me the difference I paid for the upgraded room compared to what they put me in, but Selvario avoided us and kept my money! Literally Hotels.com has an active case and saying they are avoiding them. If you are a foreigner - avoid at all costs, literally. They took advantage of three things, 1) my lack of spanish speaking ability, 2) that I prepaid, 3) that I had nowhere else to go after prepaying. Worst hotel experience ever!!! Not to mention there is club music banging extremely loud until 3am every single night of the week. Which was also not disclosed, but nothing to do with my rating.
