Fantastic small hotel positioned centrally in the old town so really close to the beach, harbour, shops and loads of restaurants. Our bedroom was lovely with a super comfy bed and pillows and a nice en-suite. We only ate breakfast in the lovely hotel bar/restaurant area but it was great. We found the attention to detail, the cleanliness and the service at this boutique hotel to be absolutely faultless. The manager of the hotel is a lady called Cynthia and she has everything just right. Thank you Hôtel La Place for making our stay perfect.

The location was perfect with short distances to water, museums and restaurants/cafes. Very friendly staff that went above expectations to make our stay welcomed. This is the second time we have stayed at La Place. The hotel is clean and tidy with a real boutique feel, the staff are super-welcoming and the breakfast is just fantastic. The location is on the edge of old town. Equidistant to old town center to the right and the beach to the left. No elevator but we were on the first floor with a window that overlooked a charming pedestrian street with restaurants. Rooms are small but renovated and adequate. The hotel entrance faces a bus plaza that can be loud late into the evening. So, we had to sleep with window closed to reduce noise. The hotel buffet breakfast was enjoyable as well as a cafe across the street. I would stay again.

This hotel is in the perfect location between the edge of the old town and the train station. Easy walking distance to both. Very quiet location. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. Nice hot water and shower pressure. We didn't get their breakfast because there's so many places to eat nearby that we wanted to try, but their lounge looked nice. I would definitely stay here again.
