We have been staying at this location for years. It is very convenient to the train station, though slightly less than the equally good rear station location. The complementary laundry facilities are excellent, the lounge area with snacks is nice, and the staff are very helpful. Its proximity to the Kaohsiung Train station, is the biggest plus point. Although the hotel is old, it has been well maintained and is very clean. The bed is also very comfortable. The breakfast had a good selection of items from coffee, teas, hot chocolate, soy milk, soybean pudding, croissant and breads, porridge, salad, cooked food items and fruits. The best bonus of all is the spacious cafe style lounge area that is open for 24 hours where you can chill at for free coffee, tea, ice cream and more. It's value for money. Definitely will return if we come back to Kaohsiung.

The best hotel I've stayed at in Taiwan and the best price to quality of any hotel I've ever stayed at. The staff is friendly and courteous. The facilities are clean and the amenities are unbeatable. Free ice cream, water, and breakfast buffet. It's so very conveniently located in front of the main railway station and close by to the biggest night market in the city. I wish this hotel was available in every city and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to everybody. 5 out of 5 stars.

All is very good, courtesy of the staff in particular. Only dissatisfaction is printer is always out of pages and when asked, they would always only add 4-5 pages, even though was allowed to print up to 10 pages per day. Very unprofessional and so I stopped asking after the 3rd day. At another Kindness hotel, where I am staying now in Tainan, there is always an additional pack of papers next to the printer.
