Great place to stay in the Badlands
We loved this motel and Campground in Interior, SD, and recommend it as a comfortable and safe spot to stay while exploring the Badlands. We stayed in a motel room. It was just fine for the price. It was very clean and we were very comfortable. They are about to embark on a major remodel so I won't bother mentioning what needs to be updated.
There are very few options for food in the tiny town so be prepared. We did eat at The Wagon Wheel. Very friendly local bar with freezer to fryer food and burgers. Cowboy Corner is a little convenience store with drip coffee anything you might need.

Badlands View Stay
A great little stay, older rooms but you can tell they put love into it. Our shower didn’t drain that well but I didn’t expect much considering the location/low price. The view outweighs any negative, and you’re not really in your room often in a place like this. Nice little store in the office area for food, supplies, souvenirs. Was given a map and some tips for exploring the local area, as well as being directed to the Wagon Wheel for late night food. I’d recommend this to anyone coming through the area.
