Great host and perfect location.
I stayed at Residence Bouttau for the second time, and I will come back next year. Very good communication with the host and very helpful. I loved the location in the old town - it's located on a historical street with restaurants, so you can hear the noise, but it's a noise I love.
Very nice place considering the price.

For the price Residence Bouttau is excellent value for money. It isn’t luxury but has everything you need for your stay with the added bonus of feeling like a resident of Cannes. Open the door and you’re in the heart of the oldest part of Cannes. Lots of lively restaurants and bars nearby but the apartment has very good sound proofing with air conditioning. 10 minute walk to ferry port, train station and La Croisette. Shopping, eating and drinking on your doorstep, including the excellent Marché Forville.

Great find in a pinch considering the price of everything else in the area during the film festival. Super walkable to the Palais and surrounding areas.
Rooms were alright - beds weren’t as comfortable as expected. Air conditioning worked properly in only one of three rooms. Bathroom fan wasn’t working as well. Wifi dipped in and out.
All in all, great place and very central, but would recommend other places if you’re spending a lot of time indoors!

Don’t let the front entrance of the property turn you off the apartment is really clean and functional good kitchen and the bedroom it’s clean. We stayed there for 10 days. The market is just a walk away and we filled the fridge and Raible to cook meals which cut down on spending money at restaurants. As I started out, the front entrance should be clean every day by the owner. It could also use. A paint job. This is not a property we’re handicap people could stay nor people with heavy suitcases as you have to walk up flights of stairs because there’s no lift (elevator) One of the other positives is the owner is just a phone call away.

Stayed 8 nights during the Cannes Film Festival. The location was perfect with the Festival only a short 10 minute walk away. And the harbor was only one-half block away. Anything else you might need is nearby. My room was basically a somewhat sparsely furnished apartment, with a complete kitchen and separate bedroom. The full refrigerator with freezer was nice. And heated towel rack in bathroom came in handy. I didn't use the TV or heating/AC unit. The double bed, was actually two twin beds pushed together. They were only OK. All and all, it was perfect for my needs. However a couple of things to note. First the street it is on, in the USA we would call it an alley, so don't be surprised when the Cab/Uber drops you off half a block away and you have to walk up the hill to find the front door (which is clearly marked). Also, there is no staff onsite or a front desk. You should receive contact information when you reserve. When want to gain access, you need to reach out to them before you arrive to arrange a meeting time. And there is no elevator - be prepared to carry our luggage up the stairs. As far as I can tell, each apartment is different - the pictures on Expedia seem pretty accurate. Look carefully and make sure that's what you are looking for. Finally, since there is no onsite front desk and you will be leaving the room key in lockbox on the door, I would recommend making a walk-through video as you leave, just so there are no misunderstandings later.

Charmigt böand takåsarna mitt i Cannes.
Perfekt läge för semester i Cannes. Precis bland en massa restauranger och gångavstånd till strand, marina och butiker. Väldigt charmig omgivning. Skönt med ac och fransk balkong. Lite begränsat utrustningi köket och vattentrycket var rätt svagt men i övrigt väldigt nöjda. Smidiga och trevliga värdar.

Enkelt, rent och fräscht. Väldigt bra läge vid strandpromenaden och stranden. Minus för att diskmaskinen inte fungerade eller att utlovat wifi inte fanns tillgängligt på rummet. Det gick att koppla upp sig ute i korridoren men det är ju ganska meningslöst. Enkelt att få kontakt och checka in!

Location is solid. However, I will flag a few things:
-Get ready to walk up a few stair cases inside the building depending where your room is.
-at night you do hear quite a bit of street noise. I’m talking about 4,5,6am. A car driving (I think it’s some type of trash service or something at the time)
-some reviews I saw before booking mentioned possible bed bugs which of course had me a bit unsettled but can confirm there were ZERO.
All that being said, I would book there again.

ni papier toilettes à notre arrivé. Un des deux lits était un clic clac qui n’était pas très grand mais à fait l’affaire. La clime ne marchait pas très bien.
Sinon l’appartement est très bien situé, dans une rue piétonne, bon rapport qualité/prix. La cuisine marchait bien, la télé a été rapidement remplacé car elle ne fonctionnait pas.

Abgewohnt, schmuddelig und ungemütlich!
Leider war dieses Appartement eine Enttäuschung. Das Haus in der Altstadt gelegen, Lage ok aber sehr hellhörig. Die Wohnung selber dunkel, fast kein Tageslicht ausser im Schlafzimmer, das Fenster im Wohnbereich lässt kaum Tageslicht herein, da es von der Lüftung des darunter gelegenen Restaurants verdeckt wird. Zudem hört man die Lüftung bis spät in die Nacht. Sehr schlechtes Wifi, im Schlafzimmer überhaupt kein Empfang.
Bad und Küche schmuddelig und staubig, da kann man sich vorstellen, wie alles andere geputzt wurde. Dusche in schlechtem Zustand, Kissen auf dem Schlafsofa unappetitlich verfleckt. Bisher die schlechteste Erfahrung, die wir mit privat vermieteten Wohnungen hatten. Leider wollte man uns dann auch noch vor Ort mit der Kurtaxe übers Ohr hauen. Check in war nicht vorhanden, da Nicolas erst gar nicht gekommen ist und uns zur verabredeten Geldübergabe über 1 Stunde warten liess. ABSOLUT NICHT EMPFEHLENSWERT!

Ho soggiornato. In una stanza molto in alto stretta per passare con le valige la luce per scendere le scale non c'era, capelli sulle lenzuola abbiamo messo dei fulard copri divano, poi la pulizia dell'appartamento non era compresa nel soggiorno e il titolare me la sta chiedendo da giorni, vi ho inviato un email ancora non mi avete risposto.
