Basic, being your own shampoo!
Hotel has some renovations but more is definitely needed outside. The price was almost tge samd as tge Mill Casino which is a very nice hotel down the street. I had to ask for shampoo and i was denied it but could buy it in the vending machine. Ive stayed at 1000 hotels and never been told I have to buy shampoo. Clientelle is sketchy.

Bare minimum
Motel 6 in Coos Bay OR is a last resort or if you can't afford anything better, like us. Front desk staff were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Room had sloped floor as you walked towards the head of the beds, a toilet that required depressing the toilet handle for 15 sec. in order for it to empty, the beds were hard, and there was no access to wifi due to password that wouldn't work for our phone. The only amenity was 2 slivers of hand soap. This was a bare minimum place to stay. No coffee in the room or blow dryer. Didn't appreciate the dog or the car alarm, but never heard the neighbors. Barely heard the folks upstairs which was a plus. If you can, afford to stay somewhere else; I know we will.

I liked that it was quiet. That being said- when we walked in the door it smelled like wet dogs, we weren't sure that it was cleaned before we got there (but the beds were made), i skinned my arm on one of the bed springs that was sticking out of my bed, and there was no coffee or breakfast.

The kind lady at the front desk was making an effort. The other staff did not seem to be helping her out much and they were not so pleasant. The room looked okay at first glance but once settled in, saw that it was actually a bit dirty. Bedding situation was a sheet, a thin blanket, and another sheet on top. The walls were so thin that my neighbors woke me up every hour. Couldn’t wait to get out of there.
