Our host was so attentive and helpful with suggestions of restaurants and the day pass. When we ran into a glitch with our boat, she took it upon herself to do some research and found helpful information regarding the truth of the matter. That gave us some negotiating power. She is a powerhouse and well connected in the community. Met us at the gate of the city/ old town, and walked us to the door. Made transportation arrangements from and to the airport and port. Highly recommend!

Romana, the hostess, makes you feel at home and goes above the call of duty to make your stay in Dubrovnik wonderful. The sobe is small but very comfortable and nicely decorated with a stone wall and wooden beam ceiling in the room. The shower has excellent power and the bed is comfortable. As indicated earlier, in the event you need anything Romana is JOHNNY ON THE SPOT. I would definitely stay at Villa siguratta again.

My daughter and I stayed at this wonderful villa for five nights, perfectly located in the heart of the Old Town. We had arranged an airport transfer through Villa Sigurata, which was very convenient. A friendly driver picked us up at the airport and drove us to Pile Gate, just outside the entrance to the Old Town. There, we were warmly welcomed by the kind and helpful owner, Romana, who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room was small, but it was perfect for our needs. It had efficient air conditioning, excellent soundproofing, a kettle for our morning coffee, and a small refrigerator. Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Romana was usually around in the mornings and was always available if we needed anything. The service was outstanding! We also arranged our transfer back to the airport through the villa, and the driver picked us up right outside the front door. €40 each way is worth the price! We highly recommend Villa Sigurata and would happily stay there again. Dubrovnik itself, with its UNESCO-listed Old Town, is an absolute must-visit. Despite the large number of tourists, it still has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We bought the three-day Dubrovnik Pass for €50, and it was well worth the price—it paid for itself with just the city walls and the monastery visits. The only downside to Dubrovnik is that prices are generally quite high, but the experience is definitely worth it.
