This is a pretty basic hotel in Usaquen. It was my first time trying this brand so didn’t know what to expect but chose it mainly due to the view from the rooms and it being walking distance from the Mercado de Las Pulgas.
We had 2 rooms. When I checked into mine, I noticed it was extremely tight. The table was literally in front of the bed. Then we went to my in law’s room and noticed his had a bit more space so luckily they were able to move us. The room also had a weird smell of cigarette/wet smell. The second room was not as bad but still had a smell. My shower door didn’t close all the way and it was hard to hang my towel back in the rack without stepping on the shower. The toilet didn’t have walls all the way up to the ceiling so you dont get a lot of privacy as they can hear you do your business.
I appreciate that the hotel is environmentally friendly but the hallways were always dark until you step into them which is kinda weird and can be even unsafe.
The rate was reasonable and included breakfast in their top floor. I did appreciate the view. Breakfast was pretty basic with some eggs, breads, soup, juices, cereal, etc.
We also went up one night for coffee and dessert and it was not bad.
Overall, it’s a fine hotel if you want to be more north in Bogota and you can walk to the church/plaza area where you’ll find people selling crafts.
