Hotel Mocambo Veracruz

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel however I would likely select another option in the area upon seeing the many newer and more modern options. The hotel is clean, the service is friendly but I suspect that the property experienced it’s better days in the past. The one thing which I did not appreciate was that for every little request I had to sign a slip with a value of the item requested in the event that I did not return (second plastic room key card, pool towels, etc.). You really get the feeling that the hotel is managing its resources very carefully or that theft is common. My daughter enjoyed the pool and the proximity to the beach was nice.

Really bad service - cashier and pool guy were rude and so not willing to help us. Breakfast wasn’t all good either - I ended up checking out and went to another hotel - much much better.

Employees attitude needs to improved- except the breakfast waitress that he was very funny and very helpful. I go to veracruz every year and I used to loved a mocambo - not no more - I checked out and went to AC hotel next door - LOT BETTER! Room AC didn’t work, employees will not care about your needs at mocambo, wouldn’t changed my room and wanted me to stay closed to a building under construction. So annoying! Oh and breakfast is horrible now! Not as good as it used to be.
