My best friend and I just completed a tour of Europe. We stayed at many places across the continent but Lena Magda was without a doubt the best place that we stayed, quickly outshining the rest. We were greeted by the sweetest host who made us feel at home to not only the bnb but also the amalfi coast. He gave us advice and when we did accidentally take the wrong bus he was quick to ensure that we were safe and eventually made it to the correct location. He and his wife cooked the most amazing breakfast that I have ever had. Fresh vegetables and fruit from their garden with homemade mozzarella and wonderful prosciutto and mini pizza. Every night the man ensured that we were safe and that we had a plan for our next day. On the morning of our departure, we had to leave very early - even before breakfast time, the host ensured that he was waiting for us to drive us down the hill in his personal car to the driver and had fresh pastries from the nearby town of Agerola waiting in the car for us. Truly we cannot thank Lena Magda enough. Their service was extraordinary. We have found a forever place to stay when we visit the amalfi coast again. Truly such wonderful people!

Room was perfect, the breakfast was fresh everyday (some home grown) and delicious. Angelone was so helpful with his recommendations for parking, eating etc. The views were outstanding and gorgeous. Hopefully we will be back.

Huset ligger, som så många andra i dessa trakter, högt upp längs bergssluttningarna och nås via sertpentinvägar eller trappor. Även om man går får man gå en hel del längs med vägarna och hitta genvägar där trappor eller stigar finns. Fantastisk utsikt men inget för den höjdrädde eller räddhågade. Vi tog färjan från Capri direkt till Amalfi och bussen upp där Angelo mötte upp oss och skjutsade packning och de tröttaste av oss de sista metrarna med ett kort stopp för att visa utsiktplatsen vid huset. Sedan fick vi mycket bra service under hela vistelsen. Rummen är fina men iom serpentinvägarna är motorljud och "här-kommer-jag-tut" för att varna mötande trafikanter i kurvorna ganska högt så om du, till skillnad till mig, störs av detta rekommenderas öronproppar. Frukosten var fantastisk. Värden kontrollerade innan om vi ville ha sötare eller nyttigare men det fanns ett brett utbud som anpassades varje dag efter vad vi hade tyckt om dagen innan och vad man ville presentera av egna och lokala rätter. Värdarna är mycket trevliga och kunniga och det de saknar i engelska tar de igen med kroppsspråk, teckningar och ett bra sätt att kommunicera med dem före, under och efter vistelsen är WhatsApp där man kan skriva på sitt eget språk och få ett komplett och välformulerat svar med allt man vill veta och litet till. :-) Ett fantastiskt och trevligt, högt rekommenderat boende för dig som vill ha nära till vandringar i bergen eller bad o shopping inom bussavstånd.
