"Overall, we had a good stay at this resort. The room was very clean, the price was great, and the location was excellent and convenient for everything we needed. The staff at check-in was fine, and overall the property has a lot of potential for families.
However, the main reason I am giving 3 stars is because of our experience at the pool and the lack of supervision and control around the property.
There were many children and families at the pool, yet no staff member seemed to be monitoring the environment. A couple appeared to be intoxicated, acting loudly and inappropriately in front of children, making many families visibly uncomfortable. At one point, the woman was walking around the pool area carrying a bottle of tequila, while the man was interacting and playing with children he did not know, which understandably made several parents uncomfortable and caused many families to leave the pool area with their kids. Unfortunately, no staff member stepped in or seemed present to supervise the situation.
Another major concern was the strong smell of marijuana throughout the property. Although smoking policies appear to exist, there seemed to be little enforcement. Hallways, outdoor areas, and common spaces frequently smelled strongly of marijuana. For a resort with many families and children, this created an uncomfortable environment.
This resort has great pricing, clean rooms, and a good location, but better supervision, stronger enforcement of property rules."
