This is a lovely peaceful place to stay with magnificent sunrises available from several bedrooms and at the lounges by the river. The staff were ever helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Residence Bassac. I do however recommend that if you partake in the alms giving ceremony to the Buddhist monks, that you find out the cost beforehand.
