I rather stay at a local-owned business, but this was a huge disappointment to me. As a last-minute trip, we arrived in the early morning to the property (after 2 am), and was met by a very passive-aggressive receptionist. I guess we interrupted here phone time. She made snide remarks about being so late, that my ID shows the local area (I recently moved out of state, and they don't normally allow locals to stay at this hotel, according to her.), that I'm lucky she was working cause no one else would let me have check-in and more. After this first impression, we make it to the room to find that the AC/Heater does not work. Being tired and late, we wait until the next morning to let them know. This receptionist wouldn't stand up or look up from their phone while I spoke, forcing me to walk around the front desk. We had to wait for maintenance to check before they would change our room, which became very hot. I was working in the room. Maintenance showed up around 11 and said the AC was broke, but it still took 3 hours until we got a new room. After the move, everything was normal for a hotel stay. The younger ladies at the reception desk seem to be more interested in their phones than working, while the receptionist on the day we left was very friendly.

So this was almost a really bad visit, but it turned out pretty ok. I got checked in fine but received a dud door key for a room on the third floor, then I got another dud. Finally the third worked but then there was no internet signal for me to finish work. Come to find out the pool heater is broken and the hot tub is shot as well. Really starting to get bummed out at this point. The girl at the desk was a personable sort and determined to make the experience an amenable one; she upgraded me to a king suite for the same price as a normal king. The rest of the night was great; pretty quite, spacious room, nice tv, wifi was working great, and I slept pretty nicely. A little patience and appreciation goes a long way.

I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the early check-in. The facilities need a bit of attention. Front desk staff is very lackadaisical.

    Hotel needs to improve

Was a little disappointed in this Hotel. Bathroom door stuck bad and made a very loud noise when it finally unstuck. The Hot-tub was out of order. Beds were hard, refrigerator was frozen up. Breakfast was good with a lot of choices. Coffee was not hot.

Checked in around 10 pm, and it was very clear that we were interrupting the customer service rep: we were not greeted at all. She then proceeded to argue with me over the last four digits on my credit card that I used to book rooms. I finally just agreed with her so I could get the room keys. On a positive note, the breakfast attendant was complete opposite: so nice and willing to help.

They did not have my reservation and I did not stay there. I have already relayed that information to you via email. They could not find me, the reservation number, or any history of my making the reservation. As a result I stayed at another motel ion the area.

    Not Great Review

Lady at front desk had no clue where our room would be or if there was a parking lot on the back side. She charged my bank 83.55 for incidentals claiming it wouldnt actually take the money out, but it did and I haven't gotten it back yet. The pool was ice cold. And the hot tub was only half full with lots of bugs in it. Not sure if it was even warm. I did not try to find out. Other than that, the beds were comfortable. We slept well

    Great stay!

A nice surprise! I had planned on staying in Amarillo for the night but couldn’t find a decent hotel for a reasonable price so decided to stay in Borger instead. It was close enough to where I had to be in the morning. The hotel was very nice! The staff was great, very warm, helpful and welcoming. The room was nice! It was a great size for the 3 of us, comfy beds, and very clean. The breakfast buffet was ok but not bad. It was definitely better than going hungry or trying to find somewhere else to eat. Overall it was a great stay and I’d highly recommend it.
