It was by far the best hotel in albania where everything it was perfect from the staff to food the room location and finally is the place where you get the milion dollar treatment and feel like human , is the place where you spend an unforgettable vacation.
I would definitely recommend.
It is a small paradise.
Thank you hotel green coast.

I’m torn about this place because the hotel and the food itself was fantastic.
They opened much too early to catch the season and the staff was not properly trained.
Walked in, management and staff didn’t even say welcome or provide some sort of welcome drink or information upon entering (as expected by 5+ star hotel). They asked what I was there for, as if a hotel checkin desk has other options. Not even a “welcome”.
Checked in, didn’t get the room as advertised. Advertising incorrect by Expedia and The hotel site itself. Rooms are fantastic, just not what I booked.
Manager said he’d follow up shortly with options. Received a call only 4.5hrs later with an upgrade, after I was forced to take “the only room available”, turns out there was one more.
They ran out of beach towels by 3pm.
3+ weeks open, they don’t even have a layout of the rooms, they send staff to check what the room looks like lol. Printed copy would suffice.
Message for hotel; staff should steam/iron their clothes. Smile and welcome guests. Staff are doing their best, solely blame management for nonexistent training.
Waited in lobby without anyone saying “can I help you with anything”, and they didn’t keep track of the line of guests, so people waiting were being cut off.
Breakfast and lunch was delicious. Would recommend that waiters introduce themselves and share what language they speak. Always different staff from different parts of the world. Confusing.
Will come back

This is listed as a 5-star resort but it’s 3-star at best. Everything here needs an urgent improvement.
This hotel is more expensive than Ritz Carlton or Fairmont but offers the bare minimum services.
- There’s no welcome when you check in. The girls at the front desk are very serious & never smile. The girl at the hotel lobby bar has quite an attitude. She was very dismissive when I asked for an electrical plug to plug in my laptop. She explained with an abrasive tone that the sophisticated design of the hotel doesn’t allow for plugs. By the way, there are NO plugs anywhere in this hotel. There were only 2plugs in our room but we had to unplug the lamps so we could plug in our laptops. I must say that the hotel manager was extremely nice & brought an extension cord to the pool-bar so I could work on my laptop. He was also very receptive to my feedback.
- The rooms are small & very basic, nowhere near a 5-star standard. Our room had a heavy foul odour that did not go away, even by keeping the doors wide open. There’s no table or chairs in the room.
- Food quality is poor. We used the restaurant only once because the food did not taste good. For instance: ceviche was off & had a smell. The food at the pool bar is absolutely basic & extremely overpriced.
- There’s only 1 shallow pool that is primarily a kids pool. Everybody smokes, which is very inconvenient.
- Parking is far from the hotel in a public lot, but they still charge 30E/d.
We will never go back. NOT recommended.

Stayed 2 nts w/half board.
Hotel=new, beach=lovely. Breakfast=excellent. Dinner = better than I expected (although they didn’t offer all menu items listed).
Reception checking us in, and maintenance people were not pleasant. Another reception person we spoke with also not pleasant. Only encountered at this 5* hotel. Other hotels we stayed in Albania had super friendly/welcoming staff.
Our front door didn’t lock. They didn’t send someone immediately. Finally fixed but we lost a couple hours precious time.
Our shower didn’t drain. Caused a pool inside the shower & water on bathroom floor. They fixed quickly.
MAIN problem. Our 2nd night @ midnight, I was awoken by arguing outside. Shortly after, I smell exhaust fumes in my room. I try to go back to sleep, but smell gets stronger. Smells like a motorcycle is running inside my room. I go outside, I see no staff, but some neighbors carrying their sleeping daughter to safety.
We wake our 2 small children, bring them to the lobby to sleep. We are frantically trying to find out what is happening. Only 1 Front desk person, no other employees.
Confusion and arguments among 15 other guests + 1 staff for about an hour. We were in rm 123 and our section of hotel was all affected. hotel was fully booked. They couldn’t accommodate. My family was lucky they put us in a room from guests that hadn’t showed up for their reservation. We were in a room around 2:30am, kids fall back asleep 3am. I can’t sleep til 4. Still waiting for comp
