The Orchard Hotel & Restaurant
"The Staff were excellent, friendly, professional, lovely. The barman we met, sorry we did not take names, was so knowledgeable, made our visit extra special. Then the dining experience made us feel very special, very attentive, polite service from the team. The breakfast was awesome, all the ladies working there were so nice, superb. We also had the pleasure of meeting a lady working at the bar, remember her name, she did write it down, Sabina had a beautiful smile and chatted to us before leaving the hotel. We would like to visit again soon."
Burleigh Court Hotel
"Lovely stay Thanks"
Mercure Nottingham Sherwood Hotel
"Staff and breakfast was very nice. Room was very clean."
New Inns
"Great location, nice size room. Kettle on the room, (could do with a few more tea bags and milk cartons). Really Quiet, I thought I'd hear noises but I didn't hear anything. Good dark curtains to keep the light out. Staff allowed me to park and follow a trail that is literally behind the pub. There is a restaurant (I didn't try the food, but I did have a nice beer of the evening)."
The Jubilee Hotel & Conferences
"Great location, I’ve stayed here many times over the past few years. Hotel offers free car parking. And great views of Jubilee Campus. The Flexi card (to access the room using my phone) didn’t work. So I had to get a physical card. But other than that - a straightforward visit. Sometimes noise from the atrium did echo around the building - but it wasn’t a huge problem"
Ashbourne Gateway Lodge
"I really enjoyed our stay at the lodge and overall we had a very good experience. The inside was above our expectations. The rooms were newly refurbished, clean and comfortable, and the kitchen and dining areas were also really nicely done. The beds were comfortable and everything felt fresh and well looked after. The caretaker was extremely helpful and supportive throughout our stay, and we received really good customer service, which made us feel very welcome. There are just a couple of things that I think could make the experience even better. It would be nice to have some basic refreshments provided, such as tea, coffee and milk, especially for guests arriving after a long journey. The outside of the building could also do with some improvement. We found the property quite difficult to locate at first, as from the outside it looks like an older building and it wasn't immediately obvious that we were in the right place. Better and clearer signage would definitely help. However, once we got inside, we were pleasantly surprised by the standard of the accommodation. It was clean, spacious and comfortable, and the newly refurbished rooms were lovely. Overall, we had a really nice stay and I would definitely recommend the lodge, particularly for large families, group gatherings and families travelling with children. We would happily stay again."

With these tools, you'll be alerted if rooms become available or prices drop, making booking your last-minute getaway easier.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you save on your stay at an Ashbourne hotel. For those seeking something a bit different, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and could offer better value. When you make a booking with Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your selected dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we’ll suggest alternative dates that might be more affordable, increasing your chances of finding a better deal.
- Consider your location: Staying nearer to key attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often comes at a higher price. For more affordable options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the sites you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located further afield, which are usually more likely to be affordable and can offer a more authentic experience.
