With its great value for money, Canterbury offers a delightful mix of monuments, cosy cafes, and lively bars, making it an ideal destination for those on a budget.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to Canterbury, begin by exploring the Deals or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted rates on hotels as your travel date approaches. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, enhancing your chances of finding the best prices. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re more likely to see the best options. This way, you can act quickly if prices drop or rooms become available for your last-minute getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your stay at a hotel in Canterbury. For those in search of distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. Should the price be on the higher side, we will suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, increasing your chances of securing a better deal.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive; however, with Canterbury's outstanding public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well connected. For those eager to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
