The location and the room itself were great! Close to pretty much anything you need. Even a quick mini mart right across the street. Room was comfortable. The only issue I had was seeing a roach the morning of my departure, crawling by the trash can inside the room. For that alone I probably would not stay at this location again. If you need a quick overnight stay though and don’t mind a bug or two, this is the spot.

The owner was amazing! I didn’t realize I had booked the wrong dates and he couldn’t find the reservation right away (off by one night! Totally my fault) But…he found a way to get me a room cleaned so we could stay as he knew we had just driven 7 hours AND it was a weekend! The room was spotless and very comfortable.

What a little gem in Point Loma. Literally a 10 -15 minute walk to the marina, with restaurants and a nice bar over the road from the property. Clean and modern room and bathroom and parking beneath the property.

Very accommodating. Our flight home to nj was not until late in the evening - he allowed us to keep our luggage in a room and said we could rest before our flight. You can see the fireworks from the hotel to the bay. Great vacation!

We had a wonderful stay. Our room was exceptionally clean, and everything—from the fixtures and beds to the amenities—was spotless, modern, and well maintained. The room felt fresh and updated, and we especially appreciated how quiet and peaceful the hotel was. It made for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Lyfe Inn is in a convenient location and rooms updated. Close to Shelter Island. The manager is very kind and friendly. There were 2 downsides : noisy on a busy street and underground parking has small spaces.

The only downside was the dusty floors and I was possibly missing some towels upon check in, there was an empty space where a towel maybe should havr been. However the property was beautiful, everything was updated showing the owners really take care of their property. Quiet, nice size rooms, comfortable bed and free parking. Absolutely deserves another stay, amd great for a first time visitor. See you all again soon!

My stay here was wonderful. The staff were very polite and helpful. They allowed for a 3 hour early check in. Frequently asking if we needed anything when we’d be walking out to our car that was parked on site. Overall great experience! I’ll be staying here again! Everything seemed new and remodeled.

The location of this hotel was very convenient. The rooms are renovated which was nice, but the bathroom we had did have an odor. It wasn’t terrible, but it just smelled wet. I’d recommend to bring your own body wash, shampoo/conditioner. There was no hair blow dryer which was inconvenient. The bed was comfortable and the manager is helpful. The parking is VERY tight and it was a little stressful having to worry about if we’d have a place to park when we got back. The office upon checking in is not renovated, but I think they are working on it. Overall it worked for what we needed.

I needed to stay in the Point Loma area overnight and was able to book this lovely hotel. Not meant as a negative, but don't let the entrance put you off. It's right on the corner and right off the street. However, once you're checked in and in the elevator, you're transported to a very well kept courtyard style hotel area and on to your room. The room looked like it had been recently renovated and they did a marvelous job. It really is very nice and had what I needed for my overnight stay. I would like to have had a nicer refrigerator but the one there was sufficient. Oh, and a hair dryer...need an available hair dryer. Anyhow, the bed was so comfy and provided a great night's sleep. The bathroom was beautiful and the makeup type mirror ideal. Parking is meant for small cars. I was lucky enough to find a spot on the street where I could see my vehicle from my room. If I ever find myself in Point Loma again, I will book there if available.

Room was clean but you can tell the place is a little dated before their remodel. But they left certain things not remodeled. Like the bathtub had some nicks in it. Shower curtain had some weird spots on them. Very basic room. Nothing fancy but because I needed a place to literally sleep for two nights, it wasn’t that bad and I got good sleep. Bed was clean. Front office couldn’t really understand English. I would say overall a 3/5 stay experience. Average, not best, and not poor.

First, the likes. Very clean property and very close to places to eat, coffee, breakfast, lunch. Parking is underground and safe. Room and bathroom were very recently remodeled so very nice and contemporary. We were disappointed that there was no microwave or hair dryer. The refrigerator did not work, but we did not need it. I told the manager as we were leaving so I'm sure it is being replaced. The room stays fairly well lit at night. The outdoor lights illuminate the room and blackout curtains are needed. The TV was nice and big. Ice machine in lobby provided adequate ice. The people running the property were friendly.
