La patronne ou gérante qui habite dans le bâtiment est très prévenante, la Casa Aberta est bien située à quelques centaines de mètres de LA rue passante d'Itacare, donnant vue sur la boca do Rio de Contos qui vient de la Chapada. Le confort est cependant rudimentaire, avec SDB partagée et pas de PDJ inclus. La photo du patio vers la mer laisse penser à qq chose de plus glamour. Mais pour les jeunes à la recherche de contacts, de cuisine partagée et de proximité des plages de surf, c'est idéal car pas trop cher.
