Our room was beautiful… truly… but next time we will book a room with no one above us. We could hear every word uttered and step taken above us… but we love the vibe and feel so much, and everyone was so helpful! It was suggested that we drive to Tomahawk Lake— which we did— and had a lovely afternoon reading by the lake and listening to the ducks. 💕

This boutique hotel is perfectly decorated and feels so chic and cozy at the same time. We stayed in the penthouse suite and it was just perfect for a little girls getaway. We couldn’t have asked for a better home base for our time in black mountain and Asheville. I would absolutely stay here again! The coffee shop was such a bonus to staying here. The only feedback I would offer be that the pillows and bed could be softer. If I were to stay again I would bring my own pillow in order to sleep better. Other than that, the place is perfect! So so cute, I highly reccomend!

Great location and amenities. Loved the cafe/bar and snacks and toiletries provided. Black Mountain was great for local shopping and restaurants. We stayed in the attic with 2 bedrooms and it was a beautiful big space. The only suggested improvement is more comfortable couch and mattress. Would definitely stay here again.

Peri Social is amazing!! We spent a few nights here with friends and could not say enough about the hotel/staff/snacks/pizza truck/layout/etc!! We loved the different seating areas for breakfast/coffee, playing cards, delicious pizza, and adult bevs :-) We walked from the hotel a few times to downtown Black Mountain for food and shopping. It was so much fun staying here and all four of us are ready for another visit! Thank you!

Such a great place. We had the entire 3rd floor, with 2 bedrooms, kitchen & living room. Beautifully appointed and so comfortable. There’s numerous sitting areas throughout the first floor. Highly recommend & we look forward to our next stay there. Thank you!

The Peri -Social is a different concept hotel. It is self check in and there are no staff on duty except the barista in the cafe/bar. Our room was very nice and spacious and very clean. The common areas were very nice and the coffee-/ self serve breakfast area worked well. I would have liked more fruit and more options without excessive sugar but that is my usual complaint with hotel breakfasts. Overall we were very happy with our two day stay at the Peri Social house and loved that we could walk to dining options in Black Mountajn.

The idea for this place is great! It is well designed but on a very busy, very noisy street. It was disappointing that there was nowhere to walk to where I could get a meal. Also a huge bummer that the cafe was closed the one morning I could have eaten there! The rooms are cute & designed with care. It just was not the quiet & cozy country retreat I was hoping for, too loud and not a safe area to walk around because there was too much traffic.

We enjoyed our stay at the Peri Social . Like they state it’s a different kind of “Hotel”. I would say it’s like a vacation stay amenity. The downstairs social side of the house stayed very busy during our stay. There were many visitors. We enjoyed the atmosphere. We left early morning while it was still dark. The front steps are a bit rough and there was no kind of lighting. It is something I might suggest to add for the night time.

Loved everything about this property. Our room was very comfortable with a separate sitting area. The open pantry was well stocked and maintained. The coffee bar downstairs has a great selection of drinks. The Property is walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops. Cannot wait to return to this amazing boutique hotel.
