Cute little place. We only stayed for one night and it was so quiet throughout the night. Cannot complain. Definitely recommend.

It was cleaner than I expected which was great. Only problem I have is the price for what you get. It seems newly updated but nothing crazy it’s very simple. I’m not sure if it’s because of the season but the price for basically just two beds and a bathroom was way too much

Basic room

Worked out for a place to crash. Confusing check in, no office, met woman in car. Needed a cell phone which I don't own, but we worked it out. Room was comfortable, but bring amenities, no washcloths nor bath mat. Still seems to be a work in progress. Bed was very comfortable and room temperature easy to control.

Quite an experience. Newly renovated so I give it good marks for cleanliness. The location and fact it is a Motel next to boarded up buildings was unexpected. So, I wouldn’t bring the kids but if you need a place to sleep after a concert and know what to expect, it is okay.

Very clean, new amenities, with no frills. Check-in was easy (unless you’re room 10). Woman who helped us check in was incredibly kind and helpful. Noisy due to fellow concert goers partying after; no fault to the motel itself. Outer door has to slam to close so that’d be my only suggestion for improvement.

2/10 Poor

The power was out when we arrived. The staff was very nice in explaining when she greeted us. Updated us an told us that power company would be working on it but its possible it could be out until midnight. Very polite about it. Gave us the option we could wait it out and she wouls try to get the room for free for us. Or if we choose to go to another hotel they will refund us the money for the room. The area looks abandoned and the room we had rented was renovated nicely except the bathroom shower. Barley room for someone to stand in.

room was clean & comfortable. room was ice box wen we got here, but heater warmed it up. nice table & chairs & nice big refrigerator & hanging up things rack. toilet paper holder fell off wall first time in use. latch doesnt work on inner door. faucet on bathroom sink was loose but we hand tightened it. no signage on front of building indicating Upstate Inn as there was a decrepit building first on Jones street & we had to ask an attendant for directions. it would be nice to have a coffee maker & coffee & creamer in room instead of a utility sink. but overall the room was adequate for 2 weary travelers. the 2 beds were comfy.

We were attending a concert at Bethel Woods that night. We would have liked to a stay at a chain branded hotel. However, choices were very limited. So , I reviewed the previous comments about this hotel. Based on the reviews we stayed here. The abandoned hotel in front of this hotel was a little disturbing. However, this was noted in the previous reviews. Also the County jail being across the street was noted in previous reviews. The outside of this hotel was not great either. However, it was clean and with out debris in the front. They were renovating the lobby. So, we checked in online. After we checked in a hotel employee did call to make sure everything was okay. In conclusion, the hotel did serve our overnight needs. Also, some of the other guest were going to the concert as well. If you are in a pinch, this hotel was clean and will serve you short-stay needs.

There is a small number of recently renovated rooms at this Motel. It is good for a no-frills inexpensive overnight stay. The room was clean and included a microwave, flat screen TV and a refrigerator. Since the management closes the front desk from Friday evening through Saturday to check in during that time requires that you digitally check in to receive a room number and a code to the digital door lock. Fortunately there is a remote agent reachable by phone if you don't receive an email with the room number and the code. We had to phone the agent because we did not receive the email. The motel does not allow pets. It is a nonsmoking property with a very sensitive smoke/fire alarm system. A guest in a room lit a cigarette which set off the alarm with a response by the fire department. If you stay there make sure you do not smoke in the room.

Scary place to stay

I didn’t feel safe at the hotel due to the location, lack of simple security ((like any lock on the door that only I could lock) and no at site personnel.

Property is under construction but it wasn't noisy or disruptive to my stay. Mobile check-in was convenient and efficient. Room was tidy and recently remodeled - you can tell they're putting effort into updates. Clean, comfortable, and good value despite the work-in-progress exterior.
