I love these hundred year old hotels. The Zindel is located directly across from the freeway on-ramp yet they did an excellent job remodeling to make this a non-issue. If you can't stand noise, do not stay in Little Italy. The room was excellent and the "lobby" was clean and modern. My only complaint is the contactless check-in. It creates a very sterile first impression. I like people and want to talk to them. Maybe they could hire a retired couple in the neighborhood to greet guests?

Never Again
With no receptionist, the check in process was frustrating due to one of the codes not working. The toilet bowl stopped filling in the middle of the night. When I call customer service no one answered. Since there is no parking available onsite, I’d recommend individuals with cars not stay here.

Hotel Zindel is a great property near Little Italy. It is very conveniently located. Only thing that needs improvement is the water pressure. Poor pressure for the shower. Otherwise was a great stay.
