Had a wonderful time!!! Awesome little cabins and the property was beautiful! Felt like you were far away but it was nice to still be close to town. This is more of glamping experience. I read reviews and knew what to expect. Bring your own bedding and towels. It is NOT a hotel. If you want a camping experience with some comfort, this place is fantastic!! It's exactly the gateway we wanted! Will definitely return!

My complaint is not about the property, but about how it was listed on Expedia. The cabin charges extra for bed linens. On the expedia listing this information is in the last 2 lines on the very last tab, and we missed it. After checking in, we looked at the property's website, which clearly indicates the linen charge. So user error was a factor, but guests would be better served if the info were more prominently featured on Expedia.

6/10 Good

Cheap dated cabins with minimal amenities
Other than the good price on a busy weekend in Heber, super friendly front desk, and being quiet, there isn’t many positives to write about. The cabin only had a/c on one side, the bed was uncomfortable, shower is tiny, the Wi-Fi signal was horrible (we had hardly any phone service, therefore we couldn’t stream anything to watch on a tablet, which we had to do at night due to there being no tv. (Cabin info says a tv in a common area, we mistaked that for the unit, but it was for a clubhouse area). Speaking of the clubhouse, we couldn’t use it either night, due to their being a get together reserved, so plan for that too.

Broken ac on a 90 plus degree day
The ac was broken in our room. Tried to contact the office but they had gone home for the day by 5:30pm. It was so terribly hot and uncomfortable. Staff was super nice during check in but the heat overtook our experience.

We stayed in what the property labels as a yurt. A yurt is made of canvas, and these structures were wooden and as a result are much more stable and comfortable. It is a single room with a closed in bathroom and shower. No tv (yeah! go outside!), plenty of things to do within easy driving distance from the ziplines on Deer Creek resevoir to the alpine coaster at Park City. Float the Provo river, enjoy fine dining or grab a burger and a beer in Park City. We will be back.

Scenic area, our cabin had a small creek running through the backyard. Nice amenities, billiards, cornhole, etc. Very friendly staff. Very quite the night of our stay. Window mount A/C could barely keep up (was almost 100 degrees outside during our stay). No television in the cabin, free wi-fi but was slow at times.

River's Edge Resort Rocks!
Really beautiful place to stay! I really was in need of a washer/dryer for my clothes... the room was huge, and easy to use. Supplies in the office store made my washing easy. Loved staying here!
