Super clean and large room. I had a beautiful view from my balcony. The front desk and concierge were very friendly, helpful and patient. The pool bartender, Claudia was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable about the island and fun to talk to. Would stay here again and again.

I had a great stay here the views are amazing the staff was so welcoming and when I had an issue they solved it quick and accommodated me. They decorated my room for my birthday beautifully. I would highly recommend this resort if staying in San Pedro.

Room was a bit small, amenities were simple, but everything else about this place was just right. Choice of two pools. Waterfront but can't swim in the water. A good distance from the busy and congested part of San Pedro... not too close and not too far either.

Some construction was going on directly over our initial room but the front desk clerk he was more than willing to change our room. First time visiting the country, but we felt safe and welcomed. This was a wonderful experience. The hotel is on a white sandy beach, the rooms were well appointed, the staff was attentive, and while they say its been 'refurbished', actually it looked and felt like a brand new hotel. It wasn't in the bustle that sourounds many of Ambergris beach hotels yet close enough to walk to great restaurants...one Gonzalo and the Princess, right next door, was uterly fantastic. Im going to do a seperate review for them because the place deserves it. We highly recommend Bananas on the Beach. Carlo and Marie January 2024.

After finding cockroaches in our room, this was the hotel manager‘s response to me. After careful consideration of the situation, upper management has decided to refund the remainder of your stay. We hope this will give you the opportunity to find accommodations that better meet your expectations. Apparently cockroaches meet their standard!!!

This was our first trip to San Pedro Belize. Bananas on the Beach was super clean and comfortable. They offered cart rental there at the resort. It was my husband’s birthday and they even decorated the room. The beachfront room was perfect for our stay in San Pedro. All of the employees were very accommodating and gave great recommendations. The hotel was close to great food and markets with beach access and amazing views. I highly recommend Bananas on the beach!
