A very comfortable place to stay close to UHV
We were in town for my son's freshman orientation at UHV. He will commute to class so we planned to drive home but they had late night activities. I booked Surestay because of its affordability and proximity to UHV. Check in was very fast and easy. The manager showed me the property to make sure I know where the pool is, the vending and ice machines and guest laundry. He walked me to our room to make sure it's clean and we have everything we need. The room is freshly renovated, very spacious, linens are crisp clean and have everything needed for an extended stay. It has a good sized TV, full size refrigerator, stove top, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave. The bathroom is clean and the shower has strong water pressure which I love. The beds are very comfortable and I love the white beddings that visibly shows they are clean. I rebooked for another night and just called the front desk to inform them we are keeping the room for another day. They serve a generous continental breakfast which other hotels at their price range do not offer. The cleaning crew showed up on time every morning and they were very kind and quick to clean and replace towels, coffee supplies, and toiletries. My son's activities on the third day concluded late so I asked if I can check out a little bit late and the manager agreed with no problem. This is a place I will book over and over again. To the staff, your kindness and at par hospitality means a million bucks. Congratulations!
