I saw that some of the rooms are being rennovated. They look really good. I requested a smoking room, so I was okay with the outdated room. The owner is ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND SO HELPFUL! He is making his hotel look very nice!

The owners are EXTREMELY nice! They are doing renovations and we were smokers, so we got the older rooms. WELL WORTH THE PRICE!! We will DEFINITELY be staying again!

Small mom and pop motel
Very courteous owner. Had a microwave go out and had a new one next day. Showed me how to work the tv remote. Really nice man. Room is a little dated but everything worked. No plumbing issues, plenty of hot water. Will definitely stay here again.

If you just a place to sleep for one night, it´s ok. The property is old and could use more than a couples of hands. The room was ok clean, a/c worked perfekt and the bed was really good. Breakfast was 2 granola bars and a danish.

New owner is working hard to upgrade the property. The room was clean and comfortable, however the sink and bathroom were old and in need of upgrading. The owner works hard to keep his guests happy.

Motel and people are great. Call them directly to book. Expedia charged us an extra $9 for 25 minutes of trip insurance. We immediately called to cancel the trip insurance but they would not refund it. Total Rip. I hope some attorney is looking for a class action law suite against Expedia. They require a double clicking of the box "No Thanks" for trip insurance to make it work. That is now how any other website works

Caveat Emptor
DID NOT stay at this property. Rating of 8.4 and images shown are NOTHING like the reality of this motel property. Will be reporting this deception to the Alabama Attorney General. I, in all my years of travel, have never been so disappointed with a motel property and/or Hotels.com. Either this situation is a "Bait and Switch" or a total Scam. Hotels.com did NOTHING to address this when I called their "Customer Service."

Shower curtain had Mildew, across 1 foot from the bottom up. I did tell him, and he put in a new one. He had moved our box springs off of the frame, 6” to put in a night stand, ( that was too big). And I bumped my leg on the metal frame under box spring. We moved the night stand, so we could get Box spring back in place. AND they locked door most of the time, hard to reach them. Wouldn’t stay there again.
