Yes, the receptionist was a bit surprised when I pointed at a photo of the original building and told her that I had stayed at the 'old' Schweizerhof back in 1982. Much has changed since them when it comes to the building but I'm pleased to say that the old fashioned standards of great hospitality and nothing is too much trouble are as good as ever. This time I had a great room with a balcony facing the Kizbuheler Horn, what a sight to wake up to. I have availed myself of the spa treatments, got social with old friends in the stuberl and been very pleased with myself for making such a great choice of hotel. Breakfast was fantastic with too much to choose from, hot, cold and healthy, whatever your needs or tastes may be. I started off being healthy but then, well those scrambled eggs with smoked bacon looked so good, and the soft cheese wih tomato and well, just 1 small crispy breakfast roll with butter and jam maybe..... One tiny gripe, tiny maybe but I would want assurances that it was sorted before booking again. The wi-fi connection. Yep, its free, as it should be in hotels of this price and standard, but it kept dropping out. I don't mean now and again but sometimes after just 5 minutes. that's why I had to complete this review over2 days. Bloody annoying. To finish on a negative would not be doing the hotel justice. That gripe aside it was as good as the reasons that I chose to stay again following my first visit a couple of years ago and if staying connected is somethin
