8/10 Very good

The room was clean and had a great balcony with a beautiful view overlooking the water. The hotel is also conveniently located within walking distance of Liberty Station. The sink did have some cracks, but otherwise, the room was comfortable. It would be nice if the hotel had a small shop where guests could purchase souvenirs, sunscreen, and a better selection of snacks and drinks.

This is a great location to the airport. Super available shuttle, beautiful room with comfy beads. We were very pleased. Starbucks, good bar and restaurant. Didn't use the pool but seemed nice. It was honestly better than I expected.

8/10 Very good

Our room was clean and the staff were courteous and efficient. The lobby and restaurant areas were pleasant and the food was fine. While clean and fairly well maintained, this upscale hotel is starting to show some wear and tear. The room that we occupied (329) is in need of an update. There are no USB ports in the desk area and the only charging ports are in the bedside clock. Further, there still a ethernet cord on the desk which indicates the age of this facility. There are spots in the cabinetry where the finish is worn away, and other areas that show wear. We would stay here again if the property was refreshed or updated.

Our flight wasn't until the evening and they let us put all our bags in the backroom where they kept everything save - it was a lot of bags because two of my sons graduated from the Marines and they had all their belongings with. That was such a relief that we could spend one more day in San Diego without having to worry about our luggage!!
