Family Vacation
The staff was very friendly and the hotel is within walking distance to a lot of fun places and restaurants. The hotel was not the cleanest however. I have a crawling baby and anytime she was on the floor her socks and hands got really dirty. Our white socks turned almost black on the bottom. There was someone else's wash rag hanging on the shower curtain rod that was super stiff and had been there for a few days at least. But, traveling during a pandemic I came fully loaded with cleaning supplies and sanitizer. Overall the stay was decent for the cost.

Not at all as expected from the 8/10 reviews!
We booked our stay in advance and requested a mountain view deluxe. We paid extra (looking at the same weekend later, it was about $100/night extra) for this type of room. When we arrived, our "mountain view" was a car wash. We could see the people there easily, so we know they had no problem seeing us as well. There was no balcony, which from reviewing the pictures I had assumed were standard. The balconies they DID have were shared per 2 rooms, so if your room was adjoining your neighbor, your balcony was as well. The room itself was large, which we liked, but the main door had no stopper, so it had made a hole in the wall, the wall paper was separated in spots, the cabinet faces were peeled, and 2 cabinet pulls of 4 in the room were missing. Upon arrival, we were told we could park in the parking structure... this was a triangular shaped "garage" with 1 enty/exit point. If there were no spaces (which there weren't when we were told to park there), you had to do a 3-5 point turn to get out again. Overall, I am just glad we were only there a couple days and only used it as a place to sleep. It's unfortunate that I could have had a better hotel for the same amount of money though.

Family vacation
My family has stayed at Vacation Lodge maby timres in the past and werr always pleased wiyh the hotel overall, however this pasy trip was a little different. The beds were suoer hard (usually they are perfect) felt like sleeping on a rock. And the pillows were very thin amd hard. We had to go out and purchase pillows to use. Also the water pressure was so low it was hard to shower. We love the location it is close to everything and my mom enjoys sitting out in the balcony. Overall great place and we will be returning, hopefully the great breakfast is back when we come again.

The hotel is dirty. The beds had crumbs and something was splattered all over the wall by the trash can. The toilet paper was not full so we ran out quickly. When we called the front desk, they told us to come get some rather than bringing it to the room. The staff was nice. They tried to accommodate where they could.

Nice for the price...
This property is nice for the price. It is conveniently located to all of the activities on the strip and only 5 or 6 minutes from Dollywood. You can essentiallt psrk your car and walk to a lot of the attractions, which is a good thing, otherwise you'll spend a lot of time sitting in your car on Parkway.

Just an OK stay
For the most part the stay was ok. The indoor hot tub is great, but it is such a long walk when it is cold outside and you are wet. The room was not as clean as it should have been. There was mold everywhere in the shower and the bathroom vent did not work. Since it was not working to pull the moisture out of the room there was rust all over the ceiling. I suffer from asthma so I never want to see mold in a place I am staying. There was also cigarette burns in the sheets . There is nothing wrong with a hotel being old, but you can make sure it is clean. It was definitely not worth what we paid for it. Our usual go to hotel was booked up so that is why we decided to try this one. The hotel we normally stay at is cheaper and has the same amenities. It is also very clean. This hotel was completely booked up so I knew it would do no good to ask for another room. At check out I did tell them about the problems and she said she would get maintenance to fix the problem. Overall just an ok stay.

I’ve stayed at 5 different hotels in the last months. For the money it was the worst of all hotels. Coffee is NOT available in office with breakfast. Breakfast consists of the choice of a honey bun or blueberry nutrigrain bar. I had to clean water from floor and the towel came back black. The pool was nice. The price was $30 more a night after fees than advertised price on! I was overall dissatisfied!
