The hotel is a no nonsense hotel located in a vibrant street in the train station area. The area is nice with many migrant owned shops and businesses. A very good selection of restaurants, and if you go to the other part of St Georg, a block away, you are in the queere friendly street with a lot of other options.
The street is populated day and night and feels safe even with the many sex workers, homeless, etc.
The hotel does not have a restaurant, and we were staying in the part that is next door to the house where the reception is located. No problem at all.
The beds were nice and clean, the bathroom was nice and clean. We had a very nice balcony we could use with view over the street. The room was cleaned and made up every day. The cleaning person was very nice and polite.
The general condition of the hotel is a bit worn, but it was very good value for the price.
