Looking to travel to Pigeon Forge and seeking a GREAT place to stay? Maybe skip Creekstone Inn. Creekstone was fine for the money and it was close to Toy Box mini golf, Shoney’s, and Andy’s frozen custard, there is a tram stop AT the hotel, and it’s off the main strip and RIGHT on the river. There are ducks and geese that frequent the basement level. Where there are birds, there is poop…but staff hosed off the parking lot every evening so it didn’t smell.
Let’s talk about the room, it was mediocre at best. The roof in the bathroom dripped the whole stay. The bathroom is TINY and does not have a fan. The balcony was nice and the beds were okay.
The office staff were great and helpful. The housekeeping team left a lot to be desired. They only ever took our towels, fresh sheets would’ve been nice.
The pool was okay, it was well worn and could use an update and repairs. But it held water. (I just wish there was a hot tub because it was a little chilly).
The breakfast was a disappointment day after day. Spongy eggs, bland food in general, and the same three options every day. The “buffet” was indeed not a buffet. Shoney’s is right down the road, FYI.
Overall it was fine for what we paid, but we will not be rebooking this hotel. All of the good things about this hotel were proximity related and not their merits.
