I won't stay again unless desperate.
It was an okay stay... some of the good... it was cheap, it was close to my destination, the bed was comfy, wifi stayed connected and room was large. Now the bad... its almost like an apartment complex, there were people walking around and talking literally all hours of the night. The walls are extremely thin not in a way like normal hotel walls are thin but I could hear every rustle of the sheets the drip of someones faucet. Checking in was a little meh. I reserved a single queen bed, check in the young lady didnt bother to say much and kind of sped through any interaction... honestly thats fine what I didn't like was finding 2 double beds and when calling down from the room they accused me of booking the wrong room, saying they had no queen beds left and then after convincing the girl of what I booked she magically found a single queen bed available. The hotel is near a low underpass and construction going around so there were a few bums roaming the lot. What surprised me was the sheer amount of people in the pool and gathering around. The room is dated, paper peeling, uneven tile, the toilet bothers me because of the way its shaped if you have solid waste it sits atop this bump and it takes 2-3 flushes because its outside the water area and sticks sorry TMI but its wasteful. It's cheap so, if you dont mind a little sass some sketchy people then go for it but if that concerns you there are better hotels out there but it's all in what you're willing to spend.

The room had a mildew smell upon entering, the carpet had not been vacuumed, and the bathroom door wouldn’t shut all the way. I could hear guests outside running up and down the stairs and it was so loud, I couldn’t sleep.

first night
The first night I was there I was in a room and the upstairs people were loud and so was the people next to me. Every time they turned on the water there was a loud thump into my room. I called to change rooms but they wouldn’t do it to the next morning. It was very uncomfortable n I was frustrated and couldn’t sleep that night

Not entirely the hotel's fault
The hotel property is huge. We originslly had a smaller room but the staff upgraded us for free. Only downside is our new room was under partygoers who kept us up until 5am. Eventually had to get police to intervene.

Hoping they update and clean up area.
This property needs a lot of upkeep. I have always loved the foliage and California feel. Unfortunately this trip was not good. Seems to have become a corner with more transient population and possible drug exchanges. There were a number of guests that seemed be living there. They hung outside all evening and the smell of majiuana was strong. Very saddening as this was a property that was nice and affordable in the past. I hope they get things fixed up and maintained.
