Great location, especially the close access to the trolley station for conferences and beach access. The room was largely outdated, with a huge gap between the door and the wall when closed. We did notice a bug entering, makes you wonder what other critters got in before. The carpet was nasty, but I did appreciate that they had 2 suitcase stands. I must say that the bathroom was area was big enough for my husband and I to get ready at the same time, which was nice.

Not the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at but also not the worst. It was mostly fine except something about the air in the room. Everything felt damp, all day long. The sheets, towels. Then the paper goods I was coming back to unload from San Diego Comic Con, it felt like it was warping from humidity. I even left the bathroom fan for hours to try and help. Damp!! Was not happy about that. Didn’t care for the tiny entrance door to the lobby and struggling to bring my luggage in. But the staff was nice, good food in the restaurant.
