We had a great stay. Hotel is in a location close to so many things to do and right on the beach. The staff were incredibly helpful with everything from restaurant suggestions, to researching availability for an extra night and even just scrounging up quarters to use the laundry. They had bike and board rentals onsite which we didn’t use this time but definitely will in a future visit.

Walls are paper thin and you will hear everything, especially on the first floor. King balcony by the pool is awful. Dont get stuck with a pool patio, you'll have strangers sitting outside your bedroom, weird. You pay for the location, and parking, which is fantastic.

Amazing staff, went out of their way to make recommendations for nearby stores to procure essentials and helped with our bags up the stairs to the main floor in our tower. I cannot say enough good things about The Wayfarer San Diego! Going into my trip, I had high hopes, but this hotel completely blew me away and was even better than I expected.The location is absolutely perfect. You are right on the beach, and having a balcony with a direct view of the ocean was a dream come true. Watching the amazing sunsets every evening right from my room was definitely a highlight of the trip. Plus, the convenience cannot be beat because there are so many fantastic restaurants within walking distance, making it incredibly easy to find great food.To top it all off, the service was top notch. The front desk staff was amazingly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my entire stay.I will definitely be staying here again and will be recommending The Wayfarer to all of my friends and family. If you are planning a trip to San Diego, book this hotel because you will not regret it!
