DO NOT STAY HERE! IT MAY SAVE YOUR LIFE!
Terrible and scary experience!! The manager tried to let himself in my room several times. He wanted to spend time alone. I have made a formal complaint and will be contacting law enforcement.

Race weekend disappointed
Beds are hard- swimming pool closed for re doing-- Breakfast was microwaved mini sausage on muffin-NO orange juice-- toaster oven your own waffles. Not impressed with quality of service of the price.

First bad thing I would say is I was told I could not get a printout of my final bill…..was told that would have to come from Expedia…..well good luck with that!
The staff at the Wyndom Super 8 in Martinsville, Indiana was a family run business and they couldn’t have been nicer! Very friendly, very accommodating. Very clean rooms and public areas.

Nice staff, decent breakfast and inexpensive but…
The room smelled like smoke, the property was very dated and the toilet in the room didn’t flush properly.

Some issues: Rude staff, sporadic WiFi, sink faucets reversed (cold tap ran hot water; hot tap ran cold water), not enough outlets in the room (none near desk to be able to charge while doing computer work; in other parts of the room you were required to unplug something in order to plug in something else of need). Have stayed at other Super8s w/no issue but that was not the case this time.

We had booked this hotel via hotels.com almost a year before our checkin date for the solar eclipse. At checkin on Sunday the VERY rude man at checkin said your reservation has been canceled even though I still had a confirmation on my hotels.com app. He said it was because my cc was declined which was not true because there wasn't a cc number in the reservation. I did as instructed by hotels.com to pay at the hotel at checkin. He called us but did not leave a voicemail as we were driving to the event. When I asked him if he left a voicemail he started shouting at me that he called... absolutely no way to treat a customer. This caused us to scramble now for a 2 night stay at any hotel in town as this was solar eclipse weekend with limited hotels. Plus all the hotels now were gouging everyone with 3 times their normal rate. We finally found the BestWestern nearby but it cost us a lot more. I was in customer service for 38 years and if I had treated someone the way I was treated, I would have been fired.

There was me and another couple. I have a prosthetic leg. The couple are in their 80's and the gentleman has one arm. One room was upstairs and there is no elevator. We asked the front desk if we could get the second room downstairs since we could not carry the luggage upstairs. He said there were no available rooms downstairs. He helped carry the luggage upstairs. Later that night there was another person at the desk. I asked if they were full. She said no, business was very slow. We did not appreciate being lied to by the first person at the front desk. We only saw 4 or 5 other people staying there. Also, breakfast was very sparse.
