Peter was super responsive up and including the day of arrival, but that is where it ended! When we required assistance, no one responded to our WhatApp or Expedia messages.
Very noisy due to a 4-way stop on this corner, with constant traffic all day/late night/early hours.
Terrible security! Minutes after arrival, we had beggars at the door as the front gate doesn’t secure shut. The happened repeatedly. We’d been watched unloading the car. At night, vagrants got drunk under the trees by the boundry wall. Rear garden was not secure/easily accessed by the unsecured front gate. The alarm system only covered the main home, not the second veranda bedroom. En-suite shower window didn’t secure shut thus allowing easy entry! Fear of safety led to bad sleep!
This property requires maintenance: veranda toilet door does not secure shut properly - no privacy! The tap handle in the shower comes off in your hand. The shower water pressure is terrible and temp setting impossible! We got tired of being dowsed by cold water!
Upstairs king bed was hard; downstairs queen bed was softer [Tempur ?!? not!]
Only pros: 3 min walk to town/restaurants and the plunge pool.
When dropping the keys off, I wasn’t even asked how our stay was OR apologised to for the lack of communication when we had an AC issue/not even bothering to notify us that you’d sent someone to check the AC, that required us to give access to the property! Unprofessional.
