Everything in this Holiday Inn was well cared for and clean, right down to the shower curtain being changed that very day. I was ready to complain that it smelled a little sour when I noticed that the maid carts had clean shower curtains- so they must have a schedule. The Breakfast buffet was great- many selections for everyone. Finally we had dinner in the bar 2 nights (serving the restaurant menu) the food was good and our service by Paul was even better. The only possible negative was the distance from the central core of Vienna and the walk from the subway was a bit far. There were buses we probably could have taken. Also don’t be put off by the graffiti or almost empty long streets with dark buildings - we had no problems! There were no sketchy characters lingering in doorways or on the street even after midnight. The front desk all spoke good English and were helpful, always asking if we needed anything. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff was outstanding, showing grace and patience to help me with small issues. The hotel itself is in a great neighborhood, with excellent non-touristy restaurants and shops nearby, and tourist attractions a 15-minute walk away. Holiday Inn does it well again.
