It is a good property, as soon as you enter the building you understand you are entering a global chain. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately there were somethings which according to me were quite unusual. You take all your luggage to your room by yourself. I think that is pretty common trait in Italy. The thing that led me to give 3 stars for the staff was that on my second night, I called the hotel front desk and asked the attendant if I can have some cream for the coffee. The lasy was pretty rude and she told me she was busy and can only bring it to me after half an hour. Unfortunately, nothing ever came or was sent to our room. The hotel’s AC needs some maintenance, first, it was locked at 24 degree celsius, I asked the hotel staff about it and they told me it was locked and they forgot to unlock it. Secondly, even at 19 (you could not go below that) it was not cooling the room.
Overall, my visit was good. The pillows were really flat though. Finally, I think, the hotel staff has to be trained according to the international standards of Novotel.
