An Okay Beach Hotel
Great access to the beach. Nice pool set up with easy access to food and drinks. Beach hotels can get soiled pretty easy, but our room and adjoining hallway cleanliness was subpar. For example, we found chocolate chips on the open bedroom floor and the sofa seat had stains (chocolate?) on it. Hotel is pretty close to the main drag of the island and the free bus system.

The service was average. During our stay, the property was without water for an entire day. There was very little communication and no compensation reimbursed for the inconvenience. We actually left the property for the day because of the chaos around the property. We weren't sure if we would have water when we returned as there was no communication or update. It is a nice location and a short walk to the beach. The pool and swim up bar is the best reason to stay at this resort.

Great value for the best Hotel on SPI.
I have to go to South Padre Island for work at least once a month so I have stayed at most of the hotels on the island. This is one of my favorites, especially for the price. The staff is always very nice and accommodating. The rooms are great and most of them have an incredible view. The property is well maintained. The price is usually very reasonable and I hope they keep it that way!

Definitely a place you have to stay at least once to say you did! However, don’t expect decent service anywhere throughout the hotel. The front desk staff is snarky and not willing to help you out with anything and service is so slow in the restaurant (we waited over 45 minutes every time we went and it wasn’t busy). Drinks were alright at the pool, but there were continuous amounts of children at the swim up bar. Housekeeping will only service your tool every third day and won’t do it unless it’s that third day. Beautiful location, wish the staff was better

Terrible housekeeping. Had to beg for it daily and then they did a poor job. Restaurant serves frozen shrimp and fish. On the gulf coast where everything is fresh and available. Freezing hallways. Like meat lockers. No need for that kind of temperature swing in a 70 degree day.
