Family of 5 Suite - the room that we wanted was on the ground floor - close to the breakfast area/lobby. The room was spacious and was able to accomodate us comfortably. The grounds were clean and well kept. The breakfast area was able to handle the full crowd for Labor Day Weekend. Will definitely go back again if we are in the SD area.

We had a hard time picking a place to stay and based on location, amenities and price this was a great choice. While the hotel is a chain hotel, it’s unique and goes well with the Old Town San Diego feel. It was clean, there was breakfast which included make your own waffles, eggs and sausage along with pastries. Parking is $31 a day and under the building which was fine, since we had a mid size sedan. I would recommend and stay again.
