Nice and warm welcome and the room was clean and as expected. We slept good for a couple of hours before the party started in another room. Too much screaming and drinking from 03 until 06 when we couldnt sleep and went for breakfast. The stuff was hiding but we got our food and enough energy to survive the day.

Wouldn’t stay
Our door wouldn’t latch so we had to use force to finally get it closed and add a chair. Mildew in the bathroom, rusted bathroom fixtures, cracked tub with obvious repairs. The neighbor next door banged on our door at 6:30 am for no reason. It was awful. Pillows were disgusting and stained we ended up using our own blankets and pillows to sleep.

Be prepared
Upon checking I was given a room where the door stuck terribly and needed to be hip butted to open. The “managers” response was to refund my money stating that the hotel was full when I asked for a resolution and a room change. He finally said he could send maintenance. The maintenance person was friendly and helpful. He apologized for the building being so old and adjusted the door in its frame. Which helped. On a side note. At 1am the hotel parking lot was half full. I have stayed in many La Quintas and this is the most run down shoddy hotel that needs a lot of repairs. The bath tub dripped all night long as well. La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham in Disrepair
In 2022 my wife & I had an overnight stay here, the property was in very good condition and the extended 7 day parking for our POV was reasonable, at about $6 a day. Fast forward to December 2024 and we did another overnight waiting for an early flight out of MCO. However, this time the property had seriuosly deteriorated and was in general disrepair, the bathroom ceiling in our room had mold with broken tiles and the towel hanger gone off the wall. Also, the main lobby elevator didn't work for the duration, making staying on above ground floors dificult. The back elevator worked but one had to get in line go down for coffee and at check out. On the positive side, the staff at the hotel, Cecilia and Jason were excellent!
