Great location but hotel needs updating.
Carpets getting worn and uneven especially on 1st floor and more power points and USB ports needed in the rooms

Great location. Could have have had some extras available in rooms. Coffee pod machine for example (most have these days)
If you just want somewhere for breakfast then the restaurant is convenient but expensive. Plenty of other cafe spots around that are much cheaper.
Good value for money overall for accomodation.

We had a fabulous time in Launceston.
We flew in from Melbourne and got a taxi to the hotel which was very reasonably priced. We then got the bus (pre-booked) to Hobart after our stay.
Perfect location for our trip to cradle mountain.
The hotel is a heritage hotel, which has been maintained and updated.
Such lovely staff, service and such a high standard of cleanliness throughout.

Very nice hotel in a great location. Excellent value for money.
Comfortable, old-style hotel in downtown Launceston with welcoming staff and clean, spacious rooms. The Avis desk in the foyer is convenient if you are picking-up a hire car from the city rather than the airport. The hotel was quite busy with a largish tour group the night of our stay. Space in the lounge area adjacent to the bar was consequently a bit limited until they went to dine.

Our stay was excellent. Right from check in until check out. We booked parking which was easy to find and easy to get your cases into the hotel. The room was a bit dated but it was immaculately clean, was a lovely size and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bar area was good and all the staff friendly. They had a happy hour between 5 and 6.30 where wine, beer and spirits were €8each. Ideal after a hard day exploring the lovely town of Launceston. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on that but it was always busy. Overall would definitely recommend this hotel for location, comfort and friendly staff. Thanks very much for making our stay in Launceston special.

Good sized room and efficient check-in. We stayed a night and did not eat there but it seemed a good “chain” sort of hotel - well run, clean and modern.

Room comfortable and spacious (room for suitcases a plus). Furniture dark, perhaps some may say outdated but bathroom good. Staff very nice. Hotel in a good posiiton, near shops and restaurants.
