I was sold on Expedia's sell, it is an impressive buiding. However, despite advising reception of my delicate nature around noise - my room was on the street side. Passing traffic and lights from a Christmas tree and the shops had light filter past the curtains. I am absent rest - the point of a room. The Spa is a letdown. The walkway(s) are spectacular, the grand ballroom too. But everything is tired.
The communal spaces are so beautifully 1930' - a delight. My salad - duck was its own reward. The serving staff are brilliant.
Breakfast - fantastic, with Christmas tunes too - thank you.
However, if you are unsupportive of guests then you miss the point!
A carpark - an interesting concerpt
