Quiet and comfortable airport stay, great service
Stayed in the family room. Had a king size bed in one room with nightstands and desk. Outer room had entrance, bathroom, two twin beds, desk, wardrobe, and also our requested crib. Good size for a European hotel. Bedding material and comfort was top notch. Super supportive, no dips or sagging at all, nice quality linens and pillows. Feels new. Attached restaurant is great. Very friendly staff. Good German beer house comfort food and beers. feels like the locals home here as their daily beer hang out. Location is rural/small agricultural town and feels very safe. Many airport travelers stay here and it is wonderful for that. It is very quiet and peaceful. no noise at all. Breakfast is buffet in the basement offering breads, cold meats, cheese, lox, yogurt, and local honey and jams. Eggs made to order. Staff is incredibly kind. He even came outside to help show me where the privacy cover on my rental station wagon is stored and helped me install it. It seemed like many of the other guests have great conversations and rapport with the staff as well. Highly recommend for a MUC airport stay!

Alter Wirt is a charming boutique-size hotel in Galdach, a rural town near Munich Airport. It is modern, clean, and well-run by exceptionally friendly and helpful staff and offers a wonderful, fresh breakfast for those in a hurry. My family has stayed there on numerous occasions in the 30 years since it opened and it remains an easy recommendation for a good place to stay close by the Munich Airport for early morning flights.

We stayed at this Hotel overnight between flights to and from Munich International Airport (MUC). The property is only 12km from the airport making it very convenient. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, ensuring we were comfortable. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice, with several options available to choose from. We will definitely stay here again, if we have the chance.

Exceptionally clean rooms. The staff did a fantastic job of making our stay comfortable. The breakfast was very nice as well. Overall, a great experience. This is my hotel of choice when I have to stay in the vicinity of Munich International Airport from now on.

This is a nice and very clean property with very large rooms, great water pressure and temperature control. Be aware the reception does depart after 9 pm but a lockbox system is used for checkin and communication is good to aid you with it. The area is agricultural and during our stay manure fertilizer smell was prominent, but this is likely limited to one part of year.

Nice stay
Stayed the night before our flight out of Munich. Great hotel, room was very clean with a nice bathroom. The restaurant was wonderful. They arranged a taxi to the airport. Cost was right at €30 for the taxi ride. The only issue that you might have is there isn't any air conditioning. We stayed in May and the room was already pretty warm. I'm guessing that in the summer it would be very hot in the rooms. There was a portable fan which helped a bit. Would stay there again just not in the summer.

We picked the place for its proximity to the airport and because of the restaurant connected to the hotel. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed (and it's not clear if they are closed forever or just for a while) - luckily there is another restaurant in walking distance ! The staff is very friendly, they offer a breakfast for a fee (EUR 5.90 per person) which is good and you can pick what style of eggs you like. They also have a small fridge with beverages available at a very reasonable price. Note that there is no elevator (so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs). All in all a great experience and a very reasonable price !
