Quite old building with old interior and furnitures. Air conditioning didn’t work at all. Light switches were literally falling apart. Overpriced.

Poor Hotel
They did not provide any person at the check in counter, we only use a machine to get the contact with the hotel. This procedure takes more than 20 mins. After we got the room no. and the code enter the room, inside is terrible. Everything is too old fashioned and not clean. We do not recomand anybodies to book this hotel

This is a love hotel!!!!
The property is old, and so are the rooms. The bathroom has a strong smell of whatever it is. There is a free parking, but very limited. The staff is helpful, but I do not recommend staying here.

Not a 3 star Hotel
We did not stay, since after driving for 4 hours, they did not have our reservation despite having a confirmation number, etc. The lobby was dated, dumpy and the check in was thru a slot in the wall. Just the condition of the lobby and the professionalisms of the staff, this is NOT a 3 star hotel. A 2 MAYBE is being generous! I would not recommend this hotel.

8/10 Very good

Pros:
Friendly English-speaking staff
Bed was clean and extremely comfortable; probably the best I've slept on in Japan
Room was pretty big and had a large window that overlooked the bullet train tracks
Air-conditioning worked well
Cons:
(Non-smoking) room had a bit of a musty/smoky smell, although it went away after opening the window and running the AC for a bit
Distance to hotel is walkable from Takasaki Station, but it's not an easy one (probably easier to take a taxi from the West Exit)

Smelly old hotel
This is a love hotel from 30 or so years ago, it smells inside... Only stay here if you're on a very tight budget. The bed is quite comfy though. The rest is pure basics.
