My new favorite hotel in OC. -Easy Parking; - beautiful location to sit, work and walk by the pond of water w ducks; - fantastic food walking distance from hotel. - was able to workout in the gym w great equipment Only issue was-- the front desk clerk seemed GONE most of the morning into afternoon. Repeatedly saw a "be back soon" sign. So i withheld my questions about things like a later check out and sort of did what i wanted. Thank you for a great stay.

Good for a quick stay
The hotel itself was nice but felt like it lacked a bit of comfort. Room was clean and it was nice that there were plenty of plugs by the bed for phone, watch, etc. Staff was sweet. Outside of the buffet we had no idea where any amenities were and signage was poor. Room service was very nice on the phone but when the food came it was like someone entirely different took the order. We spent over $100 on one appetizer and two salads and the salad was nothing like the menu ingredients. I have food allergies so I did not trust eating it. The steak on the salad was also raw. I like rare steak but this was not that. It was improperly cooked. The kitchen closed shortly after we ordered so we couldn't contact for changes, unfortunately. The pond out front was the best because there were ducks and turtles that wanted to play with us, hah. Parking was like $24 a night, which we didn't know about until we arrived. Again, the room was nice and had what we needed but this wasn't a hotel I would want to just hang out at.

I enjoyed the beautiful pond in front of the hotel. I did not enjoy getting to my room right after check in only to find there was no water!!! I couldn’t shower or brush my teeth. When I went down to the front desk to ask about the water situation the man that checked me in notified me that there wouldn’t be water for 4 hours!!! Why wouldn’t you let me know this when I just had checked in! Very frustrating and terrible customer service. The only other thing was that the waters in the room had been half drank which made me question how clean my room was since the maid had left two already drank water bottles in the room. The only redeeming factor was that when I told the man at the desk he gave me a new unopened bottle of water immediately and apologized sincerely. The hotel was decent and I enjoyed the pond out front and having a Starbucks within walking distance was very convenient.

Great Stay in OC
We planned a quick family trip for our daughter's birthday and wanted a centrally located place to stay from LA, the OC Fair and near the beach. What a pleasant surprise! Our hotel was tucked neatly in the high-rise section of the Santa Ana/Orange County Airport area, just off the 55 Freeway. This Hilton Doubletree branded location was a gem of a find. Check-in was quick and trouble-free; the staff was friendly and easy to approach. Best of all our suite was clean and perfect for the 3 or us. A small convenient store was just a 5-minute walk around a quaint man-made water feature with resident ducks and turtles which kept daughter captivated on evening walks. Our only negative was the daily parking fee - completely uncalled for (felt a bit like Vegas gouging) BUT, we will definitely stay again, even with the parking fees.
