Hotel Max

For the price ($1100+ for 4 nights), I got a very small room that is almost entirely taken up by the queen sized bed. Bathroom is tiny, and the shower pressure was not great. There was also a bit of an unidentified smell lingering in the bathroom - from reading other reviews, it seems like there's a sewerage problem? Or blocked pipes? The walls were very thin, and so I was frequently woken up in the middle of the night by my neighbours' amorous activities. Despite that, the bed was very, very comfortable. They have a pillow menu so you can choose your favourite type of pillow. My room was small but I found it quite cosy (it probably helps that I'm quite small myself; definitely won't be comfortable if two people were in there). The location was great - I could easily walk to a large number of restaurants and shops. Pike Place Market was only a 10 minute walk. The hotel also throws a happy hour everyday where they serve local beers for free.

Extremely small rooms, much like a closet. Shower inside a small closet. Unattractive and run down lobby area. They were repainting a bit around the beaten up molding, but the building and rooms need real refurbishing. Good location, close to shopping and some great restaurants. Kids running the front desk are very unprofessional and I’ll-trained, although fairly friendly. Just very disappointed for the price I paid. This is a place to stay when you’re on a tight budget, which I wasn’t, and aren’t needing more than a bed and a shower, which I was. However, I paid the same price I’ve paid for much MUCH better rooms and service.

Clean. Fast and courteous service. Perfect location for our weekend getaway.

This property is fantastic! My room was clean with a great view. Every single person at the front desk that i talked to during my stay was friendly, helpful, and happy! I got great recommendations for souvenirs, eating, and photogenic spots in the city. One of the best hotels I have enjoyed staying with!

The place was ok but not that great, there are more extra fees that are added that hotels.com doesn’t show. The room was ok but the bathroom needs redesigning. You’re knees hits the sink pipes when you sit on the toilet, nice if you wanna brush you teeth while sitting on the toilet. Shower is small for average person. The free beer is nice but you pay for it with the extra fees. location is nice.

Rooms need coffee makers

A very nice cozy hotel in downtown Seattle. It’s walking distance from the Public Market place. We arrived at 10:00am on a Saturday. There was still Chemex coffee pots out brewing fresh coffee. So perfect for the partly cloudy 45 degree weather. Hotel room was tiny, but well appointed and nicely decorated. Room was quiet at night and I slept well.
