Great one-night stay
We had a lovely night at the Mermaid Guest House. Room was comfy, service was great and breakfast was fantastic with great variety and gluten free options. There were several little touches that made big differences, in the decor or room setup, such as a reasonably priced minibar and great pillows. It felt like staying at a friend’s beach house a few blocks from the beach and on a quiet street. Do note their request to check in by 6pm/1800–we didn’t notice in the hotels.com email and were running a little late.

Great place in the southernmost tip of Africa
I came here with my family with a short stay to celebrate the new year, and we loved it! The rooms were colorful and fun. The manager was amazing and gave us very helpful tips and information about the area, including advice about local restaurants and tourism opportunities. Breakfast was outstanding and very generous, and included in the room rate. The facilities were bright and clean, and the team working at the location were attentive and pleasant. We recommend it!
