The Bayview rooms are worth every penny. The view is spectacular. Tower 1 rooms were more updated and had better mattresses. We also stayed in Tower 3 with the Skyline view and at night, that view was beautiful on the upper floors. The hotel location is perfect and you can walk to everything. The hotel is slightly dated but, the view and location make up for that all day long. It is rare to be able to walk out onto a balcony with sliding glass doors. Being able to get fresh air with a useable balcony was a major treat!

its a good weekend getaway . I am a wyndham prime time share owner but Its not the same if I am reserving for a resort, etc. It is a typical hotel environment. I am spoiled by Wyndham with their nice resorts. I didn't use my points here because I never thought I could :) all good - cheers! specially thanks to the front desk guy who moved us to a sea facing unit. He is great. When I arrived to check in the staff at the front desk was great, the lottery area looked good. When I went to my room on the third floor, I was not really impressed. I took my grandson with me and the first thing he said was great view. That’s because we had a view of a wall, we didn’t have a smart TV so we couldn’t watch any of our shows. The bathroom wooden closet door was broken and they didn’t have room service menu. The pier across the street from the hotel was amazing.

We stayed here to celebrate our 28th anniversary. The pros: Amazing views from the 10th floor facing the San Diego Bay. We were able to check in a couple hours early and the parking was close to the room. The shower was also very nice. The cons: the parking, it was way overpriced at $50 a night and there was no warming or advanced notice. The bed was also very hard. Overall, the location and views were 5 stars.
