Surprise new fee at check in
They upcharged us $100 when we got there from our booking. I have been round and round trying to dispute this. So beware. I have not been able to get a final receipt and it is weeks later. We expected a view of the Space Needle and never saw it from our hotel. But we did have a beautiful city view. Centrally located. You can take the light rail in from the airport with a short uphill walk or call yourself a ride once you get to Symphony station. Easy walks to the market and nearby mall.

I plan to come to Seattle and explore again and Crown Plaza will be where I stay again for sure. Everyone in the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean as was the entire hotel. Right away at check in the staff made me feel welcome and allowed early check in which was amazing! The size of the room and extra space for luggage was great. Location was so convenient for walking and catching the Link. Super super happy with the experience

Check-in woes, but generally okay
The hotel was pretty standard. A little dated, but okay. I arrived about 10 minutes before check-in time and my room was not available yet, so we had to wait in the lobby... but the room wasn't ready to check into until 30 minutes after check-in which sucked a little. The valet was amazing and their service is absolutely the best I've seen. I loved how central the hotel was to all the things I wanted to experience. I didn't even have to take my car out of valet, I was able to walk around everywhere... just look out for the zombies on the sidewalks

Bad service at the front desk. Rude staff.
I booked through hotels.com and when I got there they said my room was not paid for even though I paid in full through hotels.com. The 2 gentlemen at the front desk were rude and did not try to be helpful. Not one bit of empathy or a smile. All they said was I should have booked through them and it was my fault for booking last minute. I worked it out through hotels.com but I would not go back because of the hotel staff. Staff is rude and unhelpful. No one smiles here.
